Why set up a residential proxy on Android
From app testing to regional content access β residential IPs on Android devices serve many professional needs.
App store geo-testing
Test how your app appears in different regional App Store listings. Access country-specific pricing, availability, and screenshots by routing through local residential IPs.
Regional content access
Access streaming services, news sites, or social platforms that show different content based on your IP location β using a real residential exit from the target country.
Mobile ad verification
Verify how your mobile ads appear to users in different countries and carriers. Check creatives, targeting accuracy, and landing page performance from regional residential IPs.
Mobile app QA testing
Test how your app behaves under different network conditions and geographic restrictions. Simulate users from specific countries without physically being there.
Privacy on public WiFi
Route your Android traffic through a residential proxy on untrusted public WiFi networks β adding an extra layer of privacy for sensitive browsing.
Automation & scraping
Use Android devices with proxy configuration for automated mobile browser sessions. Combined with tools like Appium, target mobile-only sites through real device residential IPs.
